Privacy Policy
What the platform collects, how instance data is handled, and who controls what.
This document is a template pending legal review. It describes how the platform is intended to handle data, but it is not yet the final, legally binding version.
1. Service description
AppDevs Cloud operates ready-made business software as managed cloud instances. This policy covers the platform itself — the marketing site, the customer portal and the infrastructure that runs your instance. The data your business collects inside its own instance is controlled by you.
2. What we collect
Account data: name, email address, company details and country, provided when you create an account or submit an inquiry.
Billing data: subscription, plan and payment records needed to operate billing. Payment card details are processed by payment providers and are not stored on the platform.
Operational data: logs, health metrics and audit records generated by running and securing your instance.
3. Instance data & data ownership
Every Cloud instance runs with its own separate database. The content inside it — your customers, transactions and records — belongs to you. AppDevs personnel access instance data only where necessary to operate, support or secure the service, and such administrative access is audit logged.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your instance data for advertising.
4. Retention & backups
Backups run on schedule with defined retention windows while your subscription is active. After cancellation, instance data is retained according to the platform retention policy so you can export it, and is deleted after that window closes.
5. Security
The platform is built on tenant isolation: dedicated instances, separate databases, encrypted secrets and HTTPS everywhere. The Security page describes the architecture in detail. No platform can guarantee absolute security, and we describe only the controls we actually operate.
6. Contact
Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to support@appdevs.net. If you are an end user of a business running on AppDevs Cloud, contact that business first — it controls the data in its instance.
